I'm an Independent Event Manager & Consultant and have worked in the
Events business for some 40 years, planning, producing, managing &
directing all sorts of Events from intimate, private dinner parties and
weddings to large commercial launches and outdoor theatrical
productions. I originally trained as a musician and had enormous fun
playing in a band - mainly for private parties - for some 7 years. I
then 'deviated' into catering (mainly in large set-piece 'outside
catering' projects and banqueting) where the range of types & sizes of
events I've been involved with has been simply fascinating. I've loved
